Democratic strategist James Carville responded to President Donald Trump's attack on his proposals Tuesday on his podcast. First, he hit Trump with a basic history lesson, then challenged him to an in-person debate.
"Wacko James Carville, a so-called Democrat 'strategist,' wants the Democrats to make D.C. and Puerto Rico States and, most importantly, pack the Supreme Court, putting 13 Justices on the Court," wrote the president. He warned Democratic control would dominate politics for 100 years if such measures passed.

On his Politicon podcast, Carville described his role as educational, noting that most Americans don't know Democrats won the popular vote in seven of the last nine presidential elections.
He highlighted Senate representation disparities, where California and Texas hold equal senatorial power despite vastly different populations.
Carville referenced judicial ethics controversies, including Justice Samuel Alito's fishing vacation with a billionaire, maintaining Supreme Court cases, and Justice Neil Gorsuch's property sale to a law firm executive.
He then argued his proposals would educate the public about systemic imbalances.
