Bitcoin Cash trades at $640.50 with analysts projecting $720-$750 targets within 30 days. Technical indicators show mixed signals as BCH approaches key resistance levels.

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is showing resilient price action as it trades at $640.50, marking a modest 0.38% gain in the past 24 hours. With multiple analysts forecasting significant upside potential, this BCH price prediction examines the technical setup and potential scenarios for the leading Bitcoin fork.

BCH Price Prediction Summary

Short-term target (1 week): $655-$670
Medium-term forecast (1 month): $720-$750 range
Bullish breakout level: $649.37
Critical support: $623.97

What Crypto Analysts Are Saying About Bitcoin Cash

Recent analyst commentary has been notably bullish on Bitcoin Cash’s near-term prospects. Tony Kim stated on January 3, 2026: “Bitcoin Cash eyes $670-$720 range within 30 days as MACD bullish momentum and strong support at $580 create favorable setup for continued upside.”

Felix Pinkston provided an even more optimistic Bitcoin Cash forecast on January 6, noting: “BCH price prediction suggests a potential 16.6% rally to $750 within 30 days, supported by bullish MACD momentum and proximity to 52-week highs at $643.20.”

Most recently, James Ding reinforced the bullish sentiment on January 9, stating: “Bitcoin Cash shows bullish momentum with analysts projecting $720-750 targets within 30 days. Technical analysis reveals neutral RSI at 57.79 with key resistance at $655.”

The consensus among these analysts points to targets ranging from $670 to $750 within the next 30 days, representing potential gains of 5-17% from current levels.

BCH Technical Analysis Breakdown

Bitcoin Cash’s technical picture presents a mixed but generally constructive outlook. The RSI sits at 60.09, firmly in neutral territory and providing room for further upside movement without entering overbought conditions.

The MACD indicator shows some complexity, with the main line at 17.4895 matching the signal line, resulting in a histogram reading of 0.0000. This neutral positioning suggests momentum could break in either direction.

Bitcoin Cash’s position within the Bollinger Bands is particularly noteworthy, with a %B reading of 0.7722. This places BCH in the upper portion of its recent trading range, approaching the upper band at $662.97 while well above the middle band at $613.65.

Key resistance levels emerge at $644.93 (immediate) and $649.37 (strong), while support sits at $632.23 (immediate) and $623.97 (strong). The daily Average True Range of $26.27 indicates moderate volatility levels.

Bitcoin Cash Price Targets: Bull vs Bear Case

Bullish Scenario

In the bullish case for this BCH price prediction, a break above the immediate resistance at $644.93 would likely trigger momentum toward the strong resistance at $649.37. A decisive break above this level could open the path to the $670-$720 range identified by analysts.

The technical setup supports this upside potential, with BCH trading above all major moving averages. The SMA 7 at $636.99 provides immediate support, while the longer-term SMA 200 at $552.99 shows the strong uptrend remains intact.

For the most bullish scenario targeting $750, Bitcoin Cash would need to clear the upper Bollinger Band at $662.97 with strong volume confirmation.

Bearish Scenario

The bearish case centers on a failure to break above current resistance levels. A rejection at $644.93 could see BCH retrace to the pivot point at $636.67 or even test the immediate support at $632.23.

A break below the strong support at $623.97 would be concerning for the near-term Bitcoin Cash forecast, potentially targeting the SMA 20 at $613.65. The neutral MACD histogram suggests momentum could shift bearish if buying interest wanes.

Should You Buy BCH? Entry Strategy

Based on current technical levels, potential entry points for BCH include:

Aggressive Entry: Current levels around $640.50, with a stop-loss below $623.97 to limit downside risk.

Conservative Entry: Wait for a pullback to the $632-$636 range, offering better risk-reward positioning.

Breakout Entry: Buy on a confirmed break above $649.37 with volume, targeting the $670-$720 range.

Risk management remains crucial given the $26.27 daily ATR. Position sizes should account for this volatility, with stop-losses placed below key support levels.

Conclusion

This BCH price prediction suggests moderate to strong upside potential over the next 30 days, with analyst targets ranging from $670 to $750. The technical setup supports this bullish Bitcoin Cash forecast, though traders should monitor the key resistance zone at $644-$649 for confirmation.

Current momentum appears constructive, but the neutral MACD histogram suggests patience may be rewarded for those seeking better entry points. The confluence of analyst bullishness and technical support above $623 provides a favorable risk-reward setup for the coming weeks.

The post Fed forecasts only one rate cut in 2026, a more conservative outlook than expected appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Chip Somodevilla | Getty Images The Federal Reserve is projecting only one rate cut in 2026, fewer than expected, according to its median projection. The central bank’s so-called dot plot, which shows 19 individual members’ expectations anonymously, indicated a median estimate of 3.4% for the federal funds rate at the end of 2026. That compares to a median estimate of 3.6% for the end of this year following two expected cuts on top of Wednesday’s reduction. A single quarter-point reduction next year is significantly more conservative than current market pricing. Traders are currently pricing in at two to three more rate cuts next year, according to the CME Group’s FedWatch tool, updated shortly after the decision. Three officials penciled in three rate reductions next year. “Next year’s dot plot is a mosaic of different perspectives and is an accurate reflection of a confusing economic outlook, muddied by labor supply shifts, data measurement concerns, and government policy upheaval and uncertainty,” said Seema Shah, chief global strategist at Principal Asset Management. The central bank has two policy meetings left for the year, one in October and one in December. Economic projections from the Fed saw slightly faster economic growth in 2026 than was projected in June, while the outlook for inflation was updated modestly higher for next year.
