If you needed one headline to confirm the crypto infrastructure boom is accelerating, Grayscale is the right one. The asset manager just filed for a new XRP trust product signaling institutional appetite for altcoins is expanding fast. For traders watching the XRP price today and wondering where the best risk to reward sits, early stage projects with real utility are capturing capital that large caps cannot multiply fast enough, and Pepeto has raised $7.42M because while big names restructure, this project already built a live exchange.

Grayscale XRP trust filing shakes up the altcoin conversation

This is the headline that has traders rethinking portfolio strategy. Grayscale confirmed the filing to launch a dedicated XRP investment trust, expanding beyond its Bitcoin and Ethereum products into altcoin territory for the first time at this scale. The market responded with a brief XRP price today spike before settling, but Bloomberg analysts noted the real impact is longer term as institutional access opens up. Traders positioned in utility driven assets before the capital arrives are going to benefit the most.

Pepeto: the presale that traders keep coming back to

The presale project traders keep returning to is Pepeto, and for good reason. While most early stage projects are still pitching roadmaps and selling promises, Pepeto has a full cryptocurrency exchange, cross chain bridge, and 211% APY staking program either live or in advanced development with multiple smart contract audits already completed.

The exchange covers every tool you need in one audited interface, so you can trade across chains, bridge assets between networks, stake rewards, and manage your entire portfolio without switching between five different platforms that charge you extra and were never designed to work together. The presale has raised over $7.42M and the entry price is still a fraction of what listing projections suggest, with growing chatter across crypto communities about exchange listings as the presale moves toward its final stages. The total supply paired with the exchange utility means the multiplier math gets interesting fast, because at $7.42M in demand with real post listing volume projected, even conservative estimates put 30x to 50x on the table for presale holders who got in early.

And on top of the exchange and bridge utility, the 211% APY staking rewards are live right now building your position bigger every day while you wait for the listing to drive the next wave of demand. In the XRP price today conversation, Pepeto is the one project where utility is built, demand is verified, and the presale window is closing fast.

IPO Genie: niche insights in a crowded space

IPO Genie positions itself as a platform providing retail investors with early access to IPO related insights and analytics. While the concept sounds compelling, the space is saturated with established platforms that already dominate attention and data access. Limited community traction, unclear tokenomics, and no major audit announcements make it a risky bet compared to projects like Pepeto with $7.42M raised and verified contracts in place.

XRP price today: where does XRP go from here?

The XRP price today sits near $1.35 after weeks of range bound trading.

The Grayscale filing gave bulls a brief push but the chart structure still looks indecisive. Most analysts project XRP reaching $5 to $7 in a best case scenario this cycle, a solid 3x to 5x from current levels. That is strong for a large cap, but it does not compare to Pepeto’s presale math where 30x to 50x is realistic given the exchange utility, $7.42M in demand, and 211% APY staking already compounding for holders.

Final verdict: follow the utility

The XRP price today conversation keeps going in circles because the token’s ceiling depends on external catalysts that may or may not arrive. Pepeto does not wait for catalysts, it builds them, and $7.42M in demand proves traders see the difference between hoping for a breakout and locking into a project delivering utility from day one. FAQs

What is driving the XRP price today and is it still a good buy?

The XRP price today is influenced by the Grayscale trust filing, but with 3x to 5x as the ceiling this cycle, early stage projects like Pepeto with 30x to 50x potential and real exchange utility offer stronger risk to reward.

Why is Pepeto considered a better investment than IPO Genie?

Pepeto has $7.42M in presale demand, audited contracts, and a full exchange with 211% APY staking, while IPO Genie operates in a saturated niche with limited traction and no verified audits.

How do you buy Pepeto tokens today?

Visit the Pepeto official website and connect your wallet to secure tokens before the presale stage ends.

‘Groundbreaking’: Barry Silbert Reacts to Approval of ETF with XRP Exposure

The post ‘Groundbreaking’: Barry Silbert Reacts to Approval of ETF with XRP Exposure appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. A “combo” ETF  Crypto ETF trailblazer  Digital Currency Group founder Barry Silbert has reacted to the approval of the Grayscale Digital Large Cap Fund  (GDLC), the very first multi-crypto exchange-traded fund (ETF), describing it as “groundbreaking.”  “Grayscale continues to be the first mover, driving new product innovations that bridge tradfi and digital assets,” Silbert said while commenting on the news.  Peter Mintzberg, chief executive officer at Graysacle, claims that the team behind the world’s leading cryptocurrency asset manager is working “expeditiously” in order to bring the product to the market.  A “combo” ETF  The ETF in question offers exposure to Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), as well as several other major altcoins, including the Ripple-linked XRP token, Solana (SOL), and Cardano (ADA). XRP, for instance, has a 5.2% share of the fund, making it the third-largest constituent.  The fund initially debuted as a private placement for accredited investors back in early 2018, and its shares later became available on over-the-counter (OTC) markets.  In early July, the SEC approved the conversion of GDLC into an ETF, but it was then abruptly halted for a “review” shortly after this.  As of Sept. 17, the fund currently has a total of $915.6 million in assets.  Crypto ETF trailblazer  It is worth noting that Grayscale is usually credited with kickstarting the cryptocurrency ETF craze by winning its court case against the SEC.  The SEC ended up approving Bitcoin ETFs in early 2024 and then followed up with Ethereum ETFs.  Grayscale’s flagship GBTC currently boasts more than $20.5 billion in net assets, according to data provided by SoSoValue.  Source: https://u.today/groundbreaking-barry-silbert-reacts-to-approval-of-etf-with-xrp-exposure

Fed Makes First Rate Cut of the Year, Lowers Rates by 25 Bps

Fed Makes First Rate Cut of the Year, Lowers Rates by 25 Bps

The post Fed Makes First Rate Cut of the Year, Lowers Rates by 25 Bps appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. The Federal Reserve has made its first Fed rate cut this year following today’s FOMC meeting, lowering interest rates by 25 basis points (bps). This comes in line with expectations, while the crypto market awaits Fed Chair Jerome Powell’s speech for guidance on the committee’s stance moving forward. FOMC Makes First Fed Rate Cut This Year With 25 Bps Cut In a press release, the committee announced that it has decided to lower the target range for the federal funds rate by 25 bps from between 4.25% and 4.5% to 4% and 4.25%. This comes in line with expectations as market participants were pricing in a 25 bps cut, as against a 50 bps cut. This marks the first Fed rate cut this year, with the last cut before this coming last year in December. Notably, the Fed also made the first cut last year in September, although it was a 50 bps cut back then. All Fed officials voted in favor of a 25 bps cut except Stephen Miran, who dissented in favor of a 50 bps cut. This rate cut decision comes amid concerns that the labor market may be softening, with recent U.S. jobs data pointing to a weak labor market. The committee noted in the release that job gains have slowed, and that the unemployment rate has edged up but remains low. They added that inflation has moved up and remains somewhat elevated. Fed Chair Jerome Powell had also already signaled at the Jackson Hole Conference that they were likely to lower interest rates with the downside risk in the labor market rising. The committee reiterated this in the release that downside risks to employment have risen. Before the Fed rate cut decision, experts weighed in on whether the FOMC should make a 25 bps cut or…
