While When Christmas Comes Around…did not reach the same heights, several tunes on its tracklist have become annual favorites, especially among those who love pop divas.
Perhaps the biggest collaboration on the full-length sees Clarkson dueting with Ariana Grande on “Santa, Can’t You Hear Me?” That tune returns to multiple Billboard charts this week as Americans get back into the jolly spirit, and it even manages to debut on one of the most competitive tallies in the United States.

“Santa, Can’t You Hear Me?” appears on the Streaming Songs chart for the very first time as it launches at No. 33. The Billboard roster looks only at the tracks that rack up the largest total number of plays on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, which have completely changed the music industry in the past decade.

Between the two women, Grande is far and away the more successful on the Streaming Songs chart. The singer earns her seventy-seventh placement on the roster as “Santa, Can’t You Hear Me?” debuts. Included in that large collection of wins are 28 top 10 hits and six champions, including long-running smashes like “7 Rings” and “Thank U, Next.”

That single peaked at No. 7 during the first tracking frame of 2025, even though it debuted seven years prior.

Streaming activity pushes “Santa, Can’t You Hear Me?” to a never-before-seen high on the Hot 100, the most competitive of all songs charts in America. The duet reenters the list for just the fifth time and becomes a top 40 win seemingly out of nowhere. “Santa, Can’t You Hear Me?” reappears at No. 40, narrowly finding space inside the region that typically defines when a charting track becomes a hit.

“Santa, Can’t You Hear Me?” can also be found once more on both of the worldwide rankings of the most consumed songs on the planet. On the Billboard Global 200, where American streams and sales play an important role, the duet settles at No. 55 — close to its No. 47 high point. On the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart – where American consumption is excluded entirely – the Clarkson/Grande duet is off to a much less impressive start as it reenters at No. 141.

On two of Billboard’s Christmas-only tallies, “Santa, Can’t You Hear Me?” is bigger than ever. On the Holiday 100, the cut jumps from No. 43 to No. 30, while over on the Holiday Streaming Songs chart, it advances from No. 35 to No. 27.

Grande claims three hits on the Billboard charts this week with the word Santa somewhere in the title. As “Santa, Can’t You Hear Me?” debuts and returns, her own “Santa Tell Me” bolts back into the top 10 on the Hot 100 and lives within that important space on multiple rosters. “Oh Santa!,” a collaboration with Mariah Carey and Jennifer Hudson, reappears in the lowest spaces on the Holiday 100, where it lands at No. 96.
