Binance has announced a safety scanner for its Binance Wallet users, Security Center. Defined as a central hub, Security Center comes loaded with different features to check for different types of risks. Meanwhile, BNB price has noted an uptick and is estimated to surge further in the days to come.

Security Center for Binance Wallet

Binance has announced the launch of the Security Center for Binance Wallet. It has briefly described Security Center’s potential by informing the community that it can automatically check for risks – adding that it brings all security tools under one umbrella.

The official announcement digs a little deeper by emphasizing Security Scan. Binance has explained that Security Scan can identify potential security issues and list our recommended plan of actions for users. Thereby, helping Binancians to protect their accounts.

Security tools that the new Binance Wallet feature brings are verification methods, backup, Secure Auto Sign, and approvals, among many others. Security Scan comes with dual support for Binance Keyless Wallets and imported seed phrases & private key wallets.

Security Center then categorizes all the risks under no issues, medium-risk issues, or high-risk issues, depending on its seriousness and extent of threat. Most importantly, users receive actionable alerts on the homepage along with recommended actions.

Binancians can get started with Security Center by accessing Binance Wallet on the Binance App, navigating to Settings, Security Center, and Check Now.

Risk Types Scanned by Security Center

Security Center for Binance Wallet can scan four different types of risks, namely Wallet Security, Asset Security, Approval Security, and Transaction Security. Wallet Security pertains to monitoring the wallet’s backup status along with its operating environment.

Asset Security entails analyzing tokens and other assets in the wallet to flag those assets which have an elevated risk. Approval Security reviews approvals to check for permissions that are excessive, dangerous, or unnecessary. It leaves sufficient space for users to revoke illegitimate permissions.

Transaction Security detects potential threats by reviewing the transaction history and interactions on-chain. Users are, therefore, safeguarded against sending assets to addresses that are either risky or fraudulent.

Reaction on BNB Price and Binance Community

The Binance community, for starters, has responded positively to the launch of Security Center for Binance Wallet. Members have hailed this as a game-changer, saying that they feel safer with all security checks in one place. Another member has said that it is now convenient for them to reach every security tool.

As for the BNB price, it is hovering around $768.76, up by 0.64% over the last 24 hours. BNB price prediction now estimates the token to surge by almost 42.65% in the next 3 months. This could take the token’s value to around $1,099.49, amid a medium volatility of 4.79%.
