PANews reported on March 20th that World Liberty Financial, a crypto project backed by the Trump family, announced the launch of its AgentPay SDK, an open-source, self-custodied payment toolkit built for AI agents. The SDK integrates self-custodied key management, policy-based transaction authorization, and is compatible with common AI development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and OpenClaw. The AgentPay SDK allows AI agents to hold, transfer, and manipulate USD1 stablecoins on the EVM chain. Transactions are signed locally, and the policy engine allows setting single and daily limits, requiring manual approval when thresholds are exceeded. The SDK also includes a built-in Bitrefill purchase function. World Liberty Financial stated that USD1 is positioned as the economic operation layer for autonomous AI systems, aiming to solve the problem of how AI agents can securely and reliably conduct payments. The SDK currently supports the Ethereum and BSC networks.
